There is no automated version of GameChanger. There is Pocket Blue.

GameChanger is a manual scorekeeping app – a very good one. A parent or coach sits with the phone and enters every pitch, every out, every run, for the whole game. That’s where the “can somebody take the book today?” problem comes from, and it’s why so many parents search for an AI or automated GameChanger.

Pocket Blue starts from the other end. A phone on the fence livestreams the game, and on-device computer vision keeps score. The volunteer scorekeeper becomes optional. Everyone in the stands – and the grandparents two states away – sees the same live scoreboard at the same time.

Is there an AI or automated version of GameChanger?

Not from GameChanger, as far as we know – it’s a manual scorekeeping app. Pocket Blue is a separate product from a different company that automates the scorekeeping part: a phone on the fence watches the game and keeps the book, with a live scoreboard for everyone. If that’s what you were searching for, this is it.

Can I use Pocket Blue instead of GameChanger?

For keeping score and following the game live, that’s exactly what it’s built for. For rosters, schedules and team communication, the first version of Pocket Blue doesn’t try to replace a team-management app – plenty of teams will run both.

Does Pocket Blue import from or sync with GameChanger?

No. Pocket Blue is independent and has no integration or affiliation with GameChanger.

How accurate is the AI scoring?

The core scoring loop works, and you can watch it score a real game in the video on the Pocket Blue homepage. There’s always a human in the loop, so a call that looks wrong can be fixed, and the correction feeds back into training.

What do I need to run it?

One iPhone at the fence to livestream (iOS first, Android planned after launch) and any basic mount that grips a chain-link fence. Anyone can watch the live scoreboard on any phone. The AI runs on the phone.
